Warts are small growths that can appear anywhere on the skin. They're caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They’re usually painless, but they can be embarrassing. If you've developed a wart, call (614) 898-7546 for a treatment consultation.

There are several different kinds of warts, including:

  • Common warts: usually on the hands, but can be anywhere
  • Flat warts: on the face and forehead
  • Plantar warts: on the soles of the feet
  • Subungual / Periungual: around and / or under the fingernails and / or toenails

While there are several at-home treatments available, they can be costly and can take a long time to work, if they work at all. For those reasons, we don't recommend that you treat warts yourself.

We offer several methods for the treatment and removal of warts, including:

  • Medication
  • Cryotherpahy (freezing)
  • Electrocautery (burning)
  • Laser therapy
  • Immunotherapy

Please note that multiple treatments may be necessary, and some warts will return even after they’ve been removed.
